COVID-19 Task Force — Vaccine Distribution & Order Fulfillment
- •Contributed to an organisation-wide emergency response initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic, focused on enabling vaccine distribution for government officials and frontline health workers.
- •Designed and implemented the order punching flow for Government of India delegates and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) officials.
- •Established an emergency fulfillment channel specifically for the Delhi NCR region.
The Challenge
- Designing a reliable order and fulfillment process under extreme time pressure and operational constraints during a national health emergency.
- Serving government officials with non-standard order flows requiring specific process design outside of Tata 1MG's commercial e-pharmacy pipeline.
The Approach
- Mapped the end-to-end order fulfillment flow for the government channel, identifying and resolving process gaps.
- Coordinated cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and customer experience teams to stand up the channel rapidly.
- Maintained operational continuity and order accuracy across the two-month initiative.
Results
7,000+ government officials and delegates served across the Delhi NCR region in 2 months.
Emergency vaccine distribution channel successfully operationalised.
Initiative generated significant positive PR and brand sentiment for Tata 1MG during the national health crisis.
